SURROUNDINGS

Fumone, "Olympus of Ciociaria", is sutuated about 800 metres, above sea level, and it is facing the whole valley of Sacco. It lies in the north of Frosinone. It is about 80 Km. From Rome, 130 Km. From Naples, and only 15 Km. From the SPA waters of Fiuggi.

Fumone has historical origins, which go back to Pope Celestino V°. Its beautiful panorama makes it a very interesting and amazing place to visit in the whole region.

It is surrounded by a wall, which in older days, protected Fumone and its Castle from enemies, and has left the place intact. Arcades, lanes, archs, small streets give a feeling of being transported into the past. Fumone is a place that one feels really pleased to have visited.
